EnviroMan
The Youth Exchange „EnviroMan“ was carried out October 24th – 31th 2022 in the Czech Republic in Sedmihorky. The main mission of this Youth Exchange is to raise awareness about environmental issues especially in young generations and spread the idea of sustainable living, ecological lifestyle, moderate food consumption, conscious recycling a best practices to reduce waste and the problems associated with its disposal. Seminar for youth workers „Reach your peak“ took place in the Czech Republic, Sedmihorky from 14 – 20 April 2022 and from01 –12 July in Racha region in Georgia. We participated in a training course Expressions from May 3rd to May 7th in Muenster, Germany. The aim of the project was to give us skills to use smartphones in our work with youngsters –mostly take photos, edit them and use them in practise. Voluntary service in Georgia
Projekt FEEDING FUTURE 11 volunteers from the Czech republic took in voluntary service in Georgia for one month in cooperation with association Georgian youth for Europe. Volunteers acted in yout community centre in Rustavi and helped with eco village development. Experience and reflections from all volunteers will be published soon on IEC GEMS web page and facebook. Challenging program was prepared for the group from Alon School ORT Yokneam in the middle of Bohemian paradise, Malá Skála and in Prague. The program was a mixture of outdoor activities including experiential learning and culture activities combined with meeting Czech students, as well as guided tour in Jewish part of Prague.
